Germany’s T-Mobile is offering customers Apple’s iPhone at 99 euros ($155) — a quarter of its usual price — if they also sign up for a premium subscription.

Under an offer that runs from April 7 through June 30, the Deutsche Telekom AG unit’s customers can get the gadget with an 8-gigabyte memory at the special price if they sign up for a “Complete XL” contract at 89 euros ($139) per month.

So far, the iPhone has cost 399 euros ($624) at the current exchange rate, in Germany.

Under the offer announced Thursday, customers who buy a cheaper starter-level subscription at 29 euros ($45) per month will be able to buy the iPhone for 249 euros ($390).

The iPhone made its German debut on Nov. 9 — available only with a two-year contract from T-Mobile.
