Herndon, Virginia - Zerion Consulting, an information technology firm that specializes in mobile, enterprise business solutions and application development, donated their iPhone data collection technology to the volunteer based Twitter-Vote-Report project for use on election day 2008.

Twitter Vote Report is an all-volunteer network of software developers, designers, and other collaborators that have teamed up with the award-winning blog ‘techPresident’ to launch this effort.

Using Twitter Vote Report, voters will be able to share their experiences and resources with one another, to solve problems quickly (e.g. “don’t come now, the line is too long”). Voters can report their experience and problems via one of four channels: Twitter, Phone via SMS, iPhone and Android apps. These messages will then be aggregated and mapped so that we can “see” real-time voting problems around the country.

“I am excited and proud to be part of this project. This is further evidence that massive mobile data collection is useful beyond the enterprise space. We will continue to support initiatives like this in the future.” Sze Wong, President of Zerion Consulting. “We are working very hard to bring our exZact mobile platform to the iPhone so that small businesses and groups like the Twitter Vote Report group can effectively collect information from mobile users.”

Zerion’s mobile data collection technology is being utized by Fortune 500 companies and the US Government. Zerion’s mobile data collection technology allows mobile workers to collect data in the field while enabling full support for backend integration to create a complete mobile-enterprise workflow.
